For Rudy, color has always been the point: lift by lift, level by level, with the toner chosen for the hair in front of him rather than the one on the shelf.
The studio on 5th Avenue South is that idea given an address. One private suite, one chair, one appointment at a time, and no hand-offs to an assistant halfway through. The conversation happens in whichever language you think in.

The suite
A private room on 5th Avenue South: one styling chair, one shampoo bowl, and a door that closes behind you. No other clients, no waiting room, nothing to share.
A visit with Rudy
He looks at your hair in the light and asks about its history, your routine and the color you want to live with. Only then does he mix. The work is his from the first section to the finish.

After every visit, Rudy records the formula:
It is how your color stays the same color in March and in October, and how a change happens on purpose rather than by accident.
Levels 1 to 10, espresso to platinum: the scale every formula in this studio is written in.
Booking
A studio with one chair has one thing to offer: time. When your appointment is confirmed, it is yours. Rudy does not double-book, and he does not overbook to cover for no-shows.
New clients reserve their first appointment with a $30 deposit that goes toward the bill. Existing clients book any service with no deposit.
